3 Sacsayhuaman.

The impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman this strategically built on a hill from where you can see all Cusco. It is famous for its enormous carved stones, some of which are 9 meters or 30 feet tall and weigh over 350 tons.

4 Kenko

Located four kilometers northeast of the city of the Cusco, boasts archaeological groups Q'enqo Grande and Q´enqo guy.

Etymologically, it means labyrinth or zigzag, played a purely religious role, being on the outside an Amphitheater in semicircular form with trapezoidal niches and a monolith that pretends to be a Cougar which is approximately six meters.

5 Puka pukara

Puka pukara means "red fortress", because calcareous rocks with which it is built have acquired the reddish soil, abundant iron staining. It argues that you had the role of safeguarding Tambomach'ay, an important Palace in the inkan. But at the same time, by its architectural layout and the existence of fountains, aqueducts, and multiple venues, was a "tambo" i.e. a collective hostel offering food and posada to travellers, as well as the retinue who should join to the Inka in retirement in Tambomach'ay.

6 Tambomachay

Fortaleza de Tambomachayfortaleza roja - Puka pukara Tambomachay, located at 8 kms. to the North of Cuzco and very close to the ruins of Puka Pukara, is an archaeological site that was intended for the cult of the water and to the head of the Empire Inca could rest. This place is also known as Baños del Inca. It consists of a series of aqueducts, canals and several waterfalls that flow through the rocks. The surprising thing about this is that the Incas created a waterfall main, 2 secondary waterfalls, which are exactly the same. I.e., if one places two empty bottles, one in each waterfall, 2 are filled at the same time.
